can their sim be used to make calls like other telcos?

When asked why it does not have a general service phone line for customers, TPG said that as a modern telco, it has chosen a “digital approach” — using social media and email — for its customer service.

:D Laughable excuse.

This is same as cycle life. I still remember when I first gotten it and get into some trouble with sim card when trying to Sim pin and get locked). At that time, my home do not have a board band. Ended has to go to some wifi hotspot to chat with their help center! (Wireless @sgx also failed to login!).

Conclusion is these Telco can never be used for serious purpose.

How long does TPG take to port over a prepaid nuMber? Need to know how much to top up.

so it's not worth it for juz using the data?
any1 works at Changi airport? how's the reception for data? It's still the cheapest for the most data right? TIA

TPG free trial service was good, their app was also good, could make and receive calls (coz not an approved phone for VOLTE) .. no issues so far so signed up for their $10 plan.

Just billed $10 once only.

My experience has been good so far although the upload and download speeds are not as fast as my Vivifi line .. still no complaints at all.

NO! My line activated in 03 Apr. So billing went south china sea don't know JUL TPG decided to bill me 4 times.

Write to the DIGITAL ERA TELCO to find out why. 1 week liao bo email reply from them.

CMI telco. Say they DIGITAL TELCO. No online chat, online billing worst than Zero1 ah.

I paid $10 when sign up That would means

APR - paid when sign up (Best part April payment goes to where? not showing up)
MAY - 1 st
JUN - 2 nd
Jul - 3 rd
Aug -4 th

portal show bill me 5 times but credit card bill show another sets of date. Not sure invoice posted date and CC deduction date has different.

(Did they have billing issue in MAY to JUL?)

AFAIK, many seem to be unhappy about their backdated subscription charging. If you're able to count and keep track of the number of months they're supposed to be charging, and able to contact them for clarification for any doubts, I don't see why it should not be safe. Especially when they've stepped up on their customer service issue recently.

IMO, you can either read up on the previous posts and/or wait until you feel it's safe to take up their service.

I personally feel their charging to be very straightforward, $10/30-day for the regular plan, or $5/30-day for the senior plan.

They should have written email to each customer if want late double triple billing etc.
Just simply charge to our credit card is not the way.

Agreed with this statement.

For example SPH was late with collecting July's payment and they notified with an email that collection will be late... at least one knows why when reviewing the credit card statement... :o

Oh, didn't know you've made a first payment already.
APR - paid when sign up (Best part April payment goes to where? not showing up) Why not contact (email?) and ask them about it? Or have they not replied? Was your email sent recently when they've already replying, if not why not send them another one now?

They're having more than billing issue back then, so they're trying to catch up now, thus the backdated charging.

My trial line ended end-May, they only started their first charge to me in July. Recently got a message that they've made a second charging in August. I don't see the problem, so long as I keep track of how many months they're charging me.

They're working on giving more information each time they charge, so I'd give them time to tidy up their processes.

TPG Australia is not a small company.
I expect their Singapore company should at least have standard too
