Tested and confirmed when?

Without using the App, incoming and outgoing calls is it still fall under your plan entitlement?

Is that, without using App while roaming, you still can enjoy free 300mins to Singapore landline, free incoming call and unlimited call to Singapore mobile number?

Or you need to topup your wallet?

Was in India from July 20th to Nov 20th 2021. No need to top-up, I was receving free incoming calls, SMS and had done few outgoing calls to Singapore. It was all free, never used TPG App for calling, I had activated VoLTE and VoWifi on my Mi 10 ultra and it was working fine. (Atleast in India, roaming using Jio network)

Unless you have extremely low usage or seldom at home, broadband plan is still recommended.

My TPG line has an average D/L speed of 3-4Mbps & U/L of 2-3Mbps at home, at night it will reduce further.

One option would be to pay $10 to get a line and test for one month and if the speeds are acceptable to you for tasks performed at home then why not?

I tested with mobile and MiFi ( same model TPG bundled previously ) - same results.
TPG speed really depends on location.

Perhaps you live close to a base station? Inside apartment mah, sure get blockage etc, at Tiong Bharu/Redhill area. I know one can get 80-100Mbps in Jurong Point having tested it personally before.

Using M1 previously there were totally no signal in some rooms

paid plans no throttle. I tested on Huawei, TP-Link and some random Chinese MiFi.

Do you know where to get the list of LTE supported roaming partners? Not a big issue now but when travelling starts again, was looking forward to using TPG for data roaming & rather not trial & error

This is the full list of partner operators.

If you look at the entry for Malaysia, you'll see both DIGI & My Maxis listed, but as @lohsenglte noted, you'll only get GSM & no data on these networks. Clearly, the list of roaming partners with full service is a lot more restricted, & at the moment, it's probably a matter of trial and error with the partners on this list.
