Actually, it's not just where you are staying right? It's where you will use the tablet, which might include your school/workplace, auntie's house, favorite mall, etc.

My suggestion is to just get a SIM card & try it out for a month. If it works, continue with it. If you have lots of issues, then just cancel the line. You're just out of pocket for $10. That's the beauty of no-contract SIM-only plans!

picked up my sim card yesterday at 4pm. porting started at midnight. At 12:40am TPG sim card becomes activated. However no 4G data. Phone calls/SMS works. Looked up their FAQ, I changed my APN protocol from IPV4. to IPV4/IPV6 and only then the 4G data started working. Go to the phone settings to edit the APN protocol in the TPG APN profile. so far so good, hope this information will help someone in the future
