While this will eventually get the line terminated, it also results in you owing SIMBA money. In the worst case, if they want to be nasty, they can send debt collectors & take legal action against you. Even if they can't be bothered, you'll still be put onto their blacklist & probably never be able to sign up a line with them again (or maybe be required to place a deposit).

It's a straighforward form & email. Takes you 5 mins to do. Why need to try to be funny?
Just funnying lah..😁 we don't so xia xuay de over that few dollars... 😁😂

Hmm... Granted.

SIMBA coverage has improved a lot now I guess.

Speed wise. SIMBA surely cannot be No. 1..
SIMBA is slowly but improving. At certain areas with strong coverage, SIMBA is much faster than M1. I can get 200mbps on SIMBA, can never achieve that with M1 4G.

Note: End users' individual experience may differ due to different models of handset used, handset settings, number of users in the vicinity, etc.

Your point being? Coverage isn't just going to disappear because you are using a different phone (unless it's Pixel 6). Even if your phone's reception sucks (like the Pixel), it will suck for everyone.

I got 250Mbps on M1 LTE before a few times, rare though.

Hi everyone,

I have an iPad Air 5th Gen (2022 Model) with 5G Cellular Network. I understand that TPG does not have any 5G network service supported yet for all the plans. (unless they're working on it ?)

I just subscribed to their 50GB SIM-Only Plan and I would like to ask if the network is able to support 4G Data for Apple iPad models ? Do I have to install TPG 4G Voice App also for my iPad, to use the network services?

Hopefully sooner TPG will announce their starting of 5G Networks support in Singapore, with TPG's mobile plans in the future? ..
So atleast my "2022 - 5G Cellular iPad" don't feel abit unless because it's 2022, getting stucked in 4G feels so "2013".

- Just joking ya don't take too serious

Thanks.
Hi everyone!

In addition quote reply on my comment,

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and currently using it as a daily driven phone for now. Using CirclesLife as my telco for now.

So I have one question I would like to ask,

- Does TPG / Simba (as they’re now called) provide an eSIM feature service for usage with my current iPhone 14 Pro Max? Any information from them that they had this currently or planning thoughts in the future?

Since the release, Apple decided to implement it firstly for that particular model by permanently removing the Physical SIM slot and needed to do registration through some code via your email / SMS, in order to use the telco services with an eSIM feature only.

It's quite troublesome for me to bring along my iPad out of the country due to safety purposes and to use roaming data, turning on my WiFi hotspot, and providing some Internet data to my iPhone.

Thanks!

SIMBA do have 5G now, but it's on NSA, not all phones are supported yet and the 5G locations are very limited.

As for esim, I've asked Sima before, they do not have esim support currently, but is exploring the use of esim in the future.

I'm also looking forward to using esim on my Samsung along with my other M1 line.

SIMBA Voice App is not supported on iPad afaik.

SIMBA 5G Support depends on Apple. They don't even bother letting SIMBA apply for carrier profile. That's why manual setup of TPG APN is required even for today, as it taps on "Unknown" carrier profile, the standard carrier profile for non-verified operators.

Most 5G handsets capable of connecting to SIMBA 5G is from Chinese manufacturers.

Currently eSIM support is limited to M1 and some of its MVNOs. No support for SingTel/StarHub/SIMBA.

Again, even if eSIM is supported on SIMBA Telecom, Apple won't allow it cos there's no official carrier profile support.
Tim Crook and his money first mentality.

SIMBA or VIVIFI better?
You're comparing SingTel vs SIMBA.

Most people would prefer VIVIFI because it's on SingTel 4G.
However, do know that SingTel set prioritization levels way higher for their own Postpaid Mobile customers, compared to MVNOs/sub-brands.

Anyway, folks.

After 3 weeks returning to SIMBA. I'm sad to say that the speed is really CMI in term of data loading (downloading) while using apps compared to other MVNOs! Haiz! 🤦‍♂️

I'm going to port-out soon and going back to VIVIFI for its aweowne speed! :giggle:

Bye again soon!
