Based on my experience with SIMBA over the year! 😙

SIMBA speed is slower compared to other 3 old timers but if compared to **1 year ago! SIMBA speed and coverage have increased quite significantly! That's a blessing! ;) I'm happy with its network's improvement! :giggle:

**over the course of 1 year.

Hi, can share your definition on slower speed.
1. causing lag while watching youtube/movies/web browsing...etc
2. slower in receiving messages.

Thanks.

Messages won’t ever be slow since they don’t require much bandwidth at all. My WhatsApp messages still comes in with 1mbps Speedtest results.

I heard from someone that he has sent a message, however the recipient received this message much later.
He is using Simba and his friend is using Gomo.
So not sure the delay in transmitting is from which telco.
But comparing Gomo with Simba, fingers were pointed directly at Simba, no offense.
Hence, I raised this point to seek clarity.

I would blame Simba too, just because they have far worse network coverage. However my messages on all texting apps aren’t delayed on Simba, your receiving friend is probably just unlucky to be in a low reception area at that moment.

Probably true, receiving messages at the wrong time and wrong place.
Anway, I did not probe further whether this issue prolong.

I was thinking to port over to Simba next month after my trip, eyeing on the MY130 package deal.

Tiagong SingTel Kenna cable cut, so international traffic will be higher latency.

Very hard to pinpoint.

I guess many factors could be possible to affect this delay situation.
Not easy to pinpoint but a lot of speculation.

Well, I would not rule out SingTel as the cause due to its recent outages as mentioned by someone here. However, if comparison is to be made between Gomo and Simba, unanimously Simba will take the hit.
