I switched, from $10 - 100GB & 1GB roaming to $13 - 130GB & 10GB MY roaming. Always better to have more mah. Lol.
Speed wise both plans feel the same to me. But main point is the MY data roaming, having more data and less trouble of manually switching network here and there.
Simba have $13 plan meh?

Previously I recall SIMBA doesn't allow switching Plans eg if one is on Senior Plan, one cannot switch to SuperRoam MY. One has to quit SIMBA & return to register for SuperRoam MY.

Is this still the case?

Thanks.

That day might come once the MNOs stop charging for caller ID.
5 bucks from every subscriber. Imagine you have 500k subscribers, easy 250k every month. Very difficult to let go. But they wake up one day and realize they are on the brink of extinction. They seem to have forgotten what happened to Nokia, Cable TV and old school taxi operators.

Ya, cannot use for other countries. Depending on needs I reckon. I go MY more than other countries, having a ready to use SIM card quite important. For other countries normally I get local SIM.

With reference to the $10 Sim-only plan.

Frankly, SIMBA's Pay-Per-Use roaming data in may of the 57 countries is very affordable too at just $0.004 per 10MB or $4 per 1GB only!

If one doesn't travel often and doesn't utilize massive data for whatever purposes and even, after fully utilized the free 1GB Roaming data. The Pay-Per-Use option is super economical even while travelling in Malaysia! :).

Pay-Per-Use. You only pay when you use it and not paying a higher Monthly fee (or wasting your money) every month when you did not utilize the roaming data on the month(s)! ;)

Only caveat is your wallet will be left with weird amount that can’t be used for your monthly subscription.

Ya! So, that's on users' part on how to maximum the usage verses ballance of one's wallet. I guess it is a simple mathematic! 😊

Of coz if no choice have to leave likes $1, $2+ inside. Let it be than. Don't overstressed over a few dollars. 😊 Not worth for your life! 😊

For those able to connect to SIMBA/TPG 5G (NSA) , what are your
Phone Brand and Model:
OS Version:
APN:
SIM Card: Since Trail (With TPG logo) / New (With SIMBA logo)
Location: (if you are ok with sharing)

I have been trying to connect to 5G with a S23 and a iPhone 14 but am getting no luck on both.

EDIT: I have gone to multiple outdoor locations, including locations listed as having 5G NSA enabled on SIMBAs website.

Yes. I emailed SIMBA and that was the reply. Only normal plans are allowed to switch.

My father is happily using the senior plan that I subscribed for him as I supplement his data with M1 Broadband so that he can watch his Chinese YouTube movies at home.

How long ago was this email?

Just under 3 months ago, they published this advisory. I believe it's quite clear.

What's your iOS version for your 14?
