Porting over to Simba is really amazingly fast. Signed up online yesterday (Sat) afternoon, collected sim in the evening and successfully ported over at 11+pm.

But then 4G is shockingly slow.
I stay high level at sengkang, 2-3bar reception only
Download: 40+Mbps
Upload: 0.8Mbps

Net surfing is slow...

IMHO.
To me the download speed of 0.8 Mbps is an indication that is a small group of users doing big downloads. 🤣

My bad, 0.8 is upload. But still slow nevertheless:sleep:
IMHO.
I suspected so.
To me, TPG uses the upload speed to control the users.
If you get 0.8 Mbps, means in your area that are alot of active users.
In my area, I can get close to zero, sometimes the speedtest just "hang" there for a short while.
Upload speed is to send requests to the server to send you the data.
By right your internet surfing is good ( download speed ) but you have difficulties sending the request ( upload ) -- so overall you will feel it is slow. Maybe you have better luck streaming YouTube.

IMHO.
In the S23U, there is an ON/OFF setting for 5G NSA. Also no use.
The A14-5G by default cannot get 5G - need to coax it. 🤣
Even if the signal is there, there is no function to choose it by default.
There are those band selection apps - not sure if they work or will cock up the OS. 🤔

Using the same ideology for TPG 4G - There are 2 bands available.
Download/Upload, one band is almost symmetrical and the other asymmetrical.
The choice of bands should be auto i.e. the best available.
So far, apparently, doesn't seem to be the case.
If one is connected to the more popular band, effectively down/up will be poor ( in my case ).
In the OS, there is no choice function available.
Same thing, there are those band selection apps - not sure if they work or will cock up the OS.
@gapboy

IMHO.
I don't really like to quote myself.
Anyway, after reply, I try to find TPG's other 4G Band and managed to connect to it.

TPG 4G - Download/Upload - 48.0 / 4.04 Mbps

More users has waken. Now is

TPG 4G - Download/Upload - 18.9 / 2.61 Mbps

Yes, speedtest will "hang" for a short while. I now appreciate vivifi which i ported from, all round good reception and speed.

Got Simba due to the data roaming, where to find a $10 plan with 1gb roaming. But don't know how long i can stay with Simba, shall use for a month and see.

Need some advice here.
I ported over from MR esim on Friday afternoon. It's Sunday I'm still unable to connect to simba network. How long does the activation take?

I've followed the instruction and added to my device using the QR code. Tried restarting and manually selecting network.

Any help is appreciated.
Cannot comment much as it seems you ported from eSIM to eSIM. In the case where you go and collect SIM from authorized shops, porting over happens on the same day.

So budget galaxy can get 5G but premium galaxy cannot. Did you use same sim card?
IMHO.
Yes, the A14-5G can get. But to stay connected, is the next challenge.
I have 2x TPG SIM, both on the A14-5G no issue to connect to 5G.
Seems impossible for S22U and S23U i.e. I do the same thing, but cannot.

My main number is Singtel.
My main phone is Heya.SG and Simba.
It is 2 different phones, but I am looking at combing into a single phone... which is possible with eSIM.
But I believe there will be issues to be ironed out.
