It is a fact that SIMBA’s coverage is not going to be as good as the 3 incumbent telcos. Having said that, their coverage of most public spaces (including MRT stations) is pretty good & I have had no issues with them for the past year.
It is also a fact that the speed is not as fast as the 3 incumbent telcos. However, the speed is fast enough for you to do just about anything you wish on your device (including streaming 1080p Netflix/Disney+/Youtube, which is the max it would do on an iPad, or lossless music on Apple Music). However, if you are those that like to see big numbers in speedtest.net, then SIMBA is not for you.
Ultimately, the only way to know for sure is to try it yourself. If you don’t want to risk porting over first, just sign up a separate line & see how it goes for you. If cannot, then just cancel the line & stick with your existing provider.
