i am trying to port in. have collected the sim card by walk in, but at the activation site, when key in my number, it state that the number is invalid
Port in should be done automatically at night or 1-2 working days (just put the sim card in your phone for the port-in process to start), so I don't think you need to manually activate it.

I faced the same issue yesterday. Signed up, collected sim, cannot login etc.

This morning woke up, saw porting successful. So far tested all working.

For sharing. Cheers.

SIMBA now includes China in their Group A roaming destinations.

Quick view of the plans that will enjoy China roaming - Seniors / Business / 100GB / 130GB / SuperRoam Max

It is also noted that SIMBA Group B roaming price has changed from $6/GB to $8/GB.
Group B destinations: Brunei (previous Group D, $30/GB) and Saint Pierre & Miquelon (previous Group A, $4/GB - where is this anyway?)

Not sure what i've done.
Followed your steps below but am only getting LTE logo.
No 4G logo on my iPhone 12.

type in TPG under the personal hotspot APN name and the personal hotspot option will instantly reappear in your settings menu.

It doesn’t matter, it’s just legacy marketing and what the carrier profile from Apple is set to display. AT&T even got Apple to create some rubbish 5G E status icon for them for their 4G network.

SIMBA only has a 4G network in Singapore so don’t worry, you aren’t being short changed with “LTE”.
