Now, walking along Gopeng Street from Anson Road towards TP road.

It's full SIMBA 5G!

Download is 37.8mbps.
Upload is 1.3mpbs
Ping is 27ms.

I guess it's good that SIMBA rolled out 5G. In a way that, it increases the speed being on a 5G NSA over its slow 4G as long as you are in the SIMBA 5G coverage spots. (y) :)

SIMBA 5G is even presents in my bedroom at home lets alone the availability of VoLTE over other MVNOs.

It's the right time for me to port back to SIMBA I guess.

Don't poke my kachieng lah. 😬. Surely cannot compare to other telcos. 🤭

For normal usage and games play. The current SIMBA 5G speed is good enough to me.

Of coz, in term of downloading and uploading files, Apps updates. Higher speed of other providers are way more superior! In this department, SIMBA really jiatsai! 🤭

New to SIMBA scene, understand that for eSIM transferring to a new device need to pay $5. But am wondering, if i don't need to get back the same number, can i just cancel and then apply for the same plan with a new eSIM, new number?

Charging $5 for transferring to a new device is kinda crappy for ppl who change phone every year

More and more purple (5G) areas are being mapped on nPerf app since SIMBA rolled out 5G to all it's users. Good to see more people trying to map out where 5G areas are.

I've noticed that recent days, Yishun, Choa Chu Kang areas start to have more 5G areas being mapped.

If you guys have a 5G phone, trying downloading nPerf app and start mapping the 5G areas. The areas that don't see 5G being mapped are Bukit Panjang, Tiong Bahru, Bedok South, Simei, Tampines and Yishun
Was around Bedok South the past 3h. No 5G.

Probably its 5G coverage has not reached that part of area.

I must say if you can get SIMBA 5G. You probably should get a download speed of 30mpbs at the least, and with that speed range. It should be super good for normal usages already likes running on other telcos' 4G speed. No more lag in connection / page loading / refreshes, be it Facebook or YouTube and etc. :) I'm very happy now with SIMBA speed. :)

Imagine that SIMBA 4G speed is less than 10mpbs most of the time. :poop:

I think the data bundle isn't the right focal point. It's a red herring to distract users and make them feel like it's better value for money. Sure it's great to have more in theory, but what you actually use might not be as much as you assume it to be.

I hardly use 10GB on my phones every month since I have an internet plan at home and wifi at the office. 20, 50 or 100GB doesn't really matter. But if you tell me my first 20GB is high priority traffic, I'll be happier to pay for that than 100GB of deprioritised traffic.

At home, connected to home's Wi-Fi. However, I opted not to use my office's Wi-Fi at work for personal internet connections and yet I hardly used more than 20GB per month too based on my usages!

Query on SuperRoam Max Plan ($25 / 30 days). It says 10GB Roaming (Intl). Does it mean that out of the 100GB monthly in the plan, 10GB monthly can be used for international Roaming? In country can use this 10GB used? Japan?

No, 100GB for local, 10GB is seperate purely for overseas roaming usage in listed countries.
wow.....im going Japan. So can I get this plan from retail shop, use 10GB roaming and 100GB local and then discard the SIM after 30 days?
