Simba still unable to provide good solution for anyone having issue overseas apart from asking you to set the the apn to tpg (duh, in SG also need to set as tpg,)

So, don't rely on Simba only for overseas.

Having said that, my current trip in bkk, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai is ok

yeah. Simba absorbing it since they customer base isn't big enough to cost them. They took the risk to not lose their customers.

Also as simba billingis different from other telco, it's very hard to top up $10.10 if they increase the price. They rather get it fixed $10. Park the GST increase into other components *coughs. standby. It has to go somewhere


Hope so, that's their winning strategy, other plans out there so expensive

Have 3 lines from Simba and have worked well even the roaming in various countries have worked well for me

However in the past 2 weeks, I cannot access certain apps like Cathay cinema, Kcuts, Zig on Simba mobile data. I don't it's a phone or app problem because when at home, I tried Simba data cannot, but immediately switched to home WiFi Starhub one, the apps worked. As usual asking Simba, they just tell you delete APN, reinstall APN, restart blah blah blah...did not work. Anyone has the same issue?

the deletion of APN and re-set-up worked for me. May i know what phone are you using?

Try the other options, check if you have private DNS set. Are you using physical SIM or eSIM? If it's pSIM, try moving to SIM Slot 2 if it works.

yes. I do also have VoWIFI for SIMBA

VoWIFI and volte got any difference? Xiaomi phone has dailer code to enable VoWIFI feature.

VoLTE via cellular signal. Like new BTOs the cellular signal maybe weak, so if telco supports VoWIFI, then can use own WIFI to call over WIFI signal instead. More stable.

Go install some free versions of anti-virus or security apps with a VPN. When accessing those sites that cannot be accessed, just need to turn on the VPN. Those servers are having problems with Simba's IP address, the fact that it is ok when switching to wifi already points to the fact that the problem is at the servers banning or throttling a certain range of Simba's IP addresses. Playing with the APN is just another method to reset and hopefully get a new IP address that has not been blocked.
