Nowadays SIMBA really quite slow.. around Collyer quay, City Hall can’t load anything when on LTE. Turning on 5G works but personally don’t like it as it drains more batt… first world problems

07.00am - started port-in process from Singtel to SIMBA

11.30am - collected SIMs

11.05pm - Singtel cut me off

01.11am - port-in successful!

Very fast!!
... within 24 hours!

new plans without port in shall be active the moment you get the sim card (self collection). unless you opt for other method to receive your sim card, then you might need to activate it.

Frankly, those Simba Support responding in FB is worst than retards ..

It gives me a feeling that they are asked/tasked to bring users with issues going round..

Does it work for roaming ? Overseas ?
can check roaming status ?
previously install on iPhone and need to send sms to check if roaming is active but how to send sms from iPad ?

yep can. just ensure data roaming is turned on. don't think have to check roaming status?

I believe Simba is weak and cannot be my main line whether 5G or 6G.

as long as you've inserted the sim card onto any devices and online for 48hrs, it'll be safe to bring outside SG. not necessarily to check i reckon? i never did that checks before and it's all well.
