sms 2 to 1218 is the best and most accurate to check the roaming data balance.

judging by the history of TPG/Simba, the 3gb bonus will eventually become permanent.

if you wish to switch plan, do it on your day 25th day to reduce damage as once you change plan, the new cycle will based on the day the plan is changed + the remaining days of the old plan will be forfeited. to check which day are you into your plan, log in via the simba website.

those currently on $10 100GB plan but rarely go out of singapore and don't think you will use much data at overseas, you might wish to just stick with your plan. given your 1gb free roaming data, any additional 1gb cost $4. comparing this with you pay extra $2 every month for months before you utlise the 5gb roaming data.

The $8 plan from eight looks very good. The roaming is 8 GB. I might switch over to eight if I need more roaming data in the future and if SIMBA revokes the +3 GB offer.

Since the start of July, I have been facing connectivity issues along or between the ECP (carpark A at Fort Road to NSRCC) and Tanah Merah Coast Road until Changi Village. After each ride, my Apple Watch fails to capture the distance, resulting in no details on the fitness app. Prior to July, it seemed working fine. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Would SIMBA look into this issue?

can email their support and see if the issue is resolved. if not, then just port out to other service provider.

On the other hand, i do not face any issue when travelling on PIE at eunos / bedok area.

eight is riding on starhub network if i am not wrong. so a no-go for me. i would rather stay with simba since i do not face any issue with the already cheap plan.

I think the $12 plan also good for the inclusive IDD minutes which is useful when calling land lines overseas. This is quite useful say when holiday and need to contact car rental, restaurants etc., although simba's pay-per-use IDD is reasonably cheap. So go overseas no need get overseas sim or data sim.

agree, if you need the IDD service. otherwise, there is always whatsapp or messaging apps which can do more i.e video calling.

but on the other hand, it is just $2 more only. no need to think so much. just wack haha

Thank you for the reply.

I am aware of the official clause. Just need an example of how the pro-rated will be calculated based on my example, or if anyone has done the early port-out for their lucky number to share their side of the story.

Based on the official clause, do I assume $28 x 20 months for the example that I have quoted?
You'll just have to pay something that's below $28. I didn't go calculate myself, only pay whatever they asked for. Payment over the counter via PayNow, maybe also in cash. No account deduction or credit card payment.

Besides, Simba can let you key in choice/lucky number. Eight only randoning selecting, how about other NVMOs? Last time M1 can reserve number online, now look like unable to now, sigh...!
M1 Maxx got to register in app before you can choose numbers. Also has the option for you to key preferred numbers before choosing from a list.

Thank you. Glad to know it's divided by 24 months.
I read from the other post it can be paid at the Orchard Central shop too.
Yup, either Orchard Central or Kaki Bukit.

I boycotted SH the last couple of decades and wouldn't even go anywhere near it. Until Eight came along to offer the free 88-day SIM. I've already ported in my own line to Eight coz connection is more stable than Simba for me...

i had an old simba line . actually is from the first batch of TPG . im unable to do roaming in malaysia using this card which had been sitting around wasting $$. therefore would like to discontinue it.

What the best way to go around? Since it alway auto deducted from my CC. Can i just do away with the CC so no deduction is made & let the telecom terminate it ?

Or what other way?

There is a Web form to terminate line

Anyone can confirm? The $5 senior plan was suppose to be valid until November 2024. Thereafter, reverting to $10. But in the latest criticla information summary on their website, the date has been removed. Does it imean the $5 senior plan will now stay $5?

Since CIS updated, nobody can confirm apart from SIMBA, have you checked with them?

I’ve ported from SIMBA to Eight on Sunday morning with eSIM option. Activated the temp number and waiting for the port.

SIMBA is not working for part of my journey at BKE/Mandai. And it always Jam there.

Tried using the free Eight line and is much better. But do have a drop in signal for a short bit.

If you're cleared of any outstanding payment with Simba, porting should be completed by Tuesday morning.

Marine Parade resident here, my phone would roam to Indonesia even when at home and in East Coast Park (usually at Area C near Siglap Canal). Fort Rd flyover - KPE/MCP section is spotty at times, usually would resolve in a few days.
