For SIMBA $10(30days) plan, does it really bill every 30 days (or Month)? Meaning eg: first bill 16 July, second bill 15 Aug?

Also, if I were to port in from StarHub Prepaid to SIMBA, I can only do it in person at service centre correct. Anyone has successful/hicupped experience with Prepaid SIM port-in to Simba? Eg: Prepaid may face more technical difficulties (with different Telco), or more days needed to complete port-in?

Yes. They are billed once every 30-days, not 1 month.

Port in from prepaid can also be done at retailers stores, not only service centres. My colleagues ported before at retailer store, a day before he went JB. No hiccups, ported in on the day after 11pm. Next day, on simba postpaid. And went up north.

Normally if you sign up for port in in the morning or before 3pm, you will likely make the cut for port in for the day

Anyone on Simba is unable to access OCBC apps and website at the moment?

I can't access OCBC app and it can't connect to OCBC website now but when i use my work pc to connect OCBC website it's working. So I suspect something is wrong with SIMBA side.

do you have other apps, like foodpanda, grab, crypto app, that is also not working on simba as well? Reason im asking is because previously i had this issue with crypto.com and foodpanda app and it sounded similar. But when you use facebook or youtube, there was no issues. No issues as well when connected to wifi

I tried Grab just now and it is working fine.

It is the 1st time i encounter such thing and i find it unacceptable that I can't access to such important apps because of telco issues facebook, youtube etc is also working.

Yesterday it was still okay when i accessed ocbc app but since this morning i can't access to it.

I just tested, safari cannot open ocbc website. App can login but cannot display any other page except homepage. Interesting issue. Haha. (Normally I use another sim for data, Simba number only for call and sms, coz I'm quite disappointed with their data stability)

Not me. I just tried and no problem with ocbc app and website. Maybe it is ur phone settings or some ad blocking apps?

If u r using simba for tethering, yes, ocbc is not loading.

Ok. Then it must be APN issues like what I faced last time. Having super laggy on food Panda, bank apps, but not on YouTube or internet browsers.

The resolution that Simba gave me previously was to delete the APN and re-add the APN. It works more me thereafter and my app loads instantly after re-setting up APN.

Remember APN must be TPG

To share an interesting point for my: StarHub Prepaid port-over to SIMBA Prepaid 100gb (50gb+50gb)......

On Day 1 (applied in person around 11am to request port-in): Paid $10 cash on the spot. Salesperson said that for other Telco's Prepaid port-in, I can only choose SIMBA's $10 Prepaid plan. After that, I sms'ed to 1218 and confirmed that I am on the SIMBA Prepaid 50gb (plus 50gb) plan.

On Day 2 (morning): Port-in was successful. I sms'ed again to 1218 and noticed my SIMBA plan has automatically changed to POSTPAID SIM-only 100gb SIMBA Plan. This "auto-upgrade" to "Postpaid" is really important, especially if considering to port-over to another Telco in future.

has any switched from Giga to Simba recently? How was the experience?

Interested to know experience for Giga port over to Simba(Senior) too.

Heard some failed porting experience , but I am wondering if the porting failure can be minimized by doing it in person at the service outlets (instead of doing online)? This is because the service rep. tends to do some checking (eg: check the port-in number validity and details such as account holder's name and compare against NRIC), so as to approve/finalize the porting request.
