basically paying $2.97 for $5 worth of top up.

my past experience...... YMMV

after 25 hours, still "preparing for shipment", and no more auto-replies for any chat msg
no replies to any previous chats (in the preceeding 24 hours) too.

cancelled for full refund.

i am using youtrip to pay, so only $2.85 for $5 worth of top up.

i dont keep the coins.

everyday i use shoppe pay for my lunch in hc, $4 meal and use up the 200 coins.

on yellow line:
Serangoon to Lorong Chuan - got signal but no data
around Botanical Garden/Holland V also same

near these 2 station, my game cannot load or will hang..

Ya, good thing it's my secondary/biz line. Guess will keep it for calls/data roaming not too bad so far.

Have anyone experienced strange occurrence where over time the money topped up inside will decrease by 1c etc?
Previously my sis experience out of the blue 1c missing. Now my fam experience 1ct deducted away some time ago. Today 10c deducted for no reason. Total 11c sudden gone.

Have written in to ask. Hope they reply.

They seems to have removed it. By now, people should have volte enabled phone.

If you download the app on web, some banks will disallow you to access. They should keep it at playstore for users to download.

2 or 3 days ago, i dropped in to their service centre (orchard) to ask same question. the guy said they were instructed by IMDA to remove it to encourage people to switch to 4g phones. Then added very dismissively, "anyway now dun need, since everyone got 4G or 5G phone".

he could not understand that the telco makes a decision whether to support the phone or not. VoLTE is a necessary but insufficient pre-requisite, if a telco does not support it, it does not mean the phone is not VoLTE capable.

i pointed out it had nothing to do with 4G, since it is a point-to-point VOIP app, and can even work when phone does not have the simba SIM inside it. he just shrugged and said, "Just buy a new phone."


@ibrahim Noorali for now you can download the app from simba website. search for "voice app"


to me, this removes 1 of the 2 reasons to keep my simba line (the other reason is backup roaming SIM).
(for me, local use, the coverage and speed is really cui, so that is a huge negative)

the app is necessary for countries which may not support my phone.
whether it is true or not that IMDA asked them to remove it, i dunno and can't prove it either way.
anyway, will keep a local copy of the APK in case i factory reset my phone in future.
