should be the other way round
Using both SIMs on same phone so also quite surprised SIMBA totally cmi that time since many give good feedback that it has improved greatly since TPG days. But okay la keeping for data roaming/IDD calls, some places still got good 5G speeds and connectivity just that it's not 100% reliable compared to my eight.

today is day 1 of me using simba after being with starhub for years.

let's see how good or poor the data connection compare with the green camp...
but the 7GB oversea roaming will come in handy as I go for my year end holiday..

will monitor for the next 3 mths... if no good... will just move over to another camp in Feb 2025.

If your using as your main SIM, I can only hope the signal strength around your home/your frequently visited areas are good. Else, you will be gone by Feb lol.

Port in from Eight to Simba via dealer shop on 11/11/24 1300hs. At 2300hs, Eight disconnected, on 12/11/24 0030hs, ported successfully to Simba. But as there is no SMS received regarding porting during this period, it was not clear whether porting will happen or not.

The intention of porting is to make use of Simba Voice for my two non-VoLTE 4G tablet phones but it seems that Simba intentionally restricts their use. The Simba network could not be detected by them but only initially. It never happened previously when I was with Simba. My another VoLTE phone works fine though. Guess it defeats my porting purpose, will keep testing with the two nonVoLTE devices and if the network is still undetectable, might consider port out after 30 days minimum period subscription and use my tablet phones without call. 😌

ic. maybank dun like developer option enabled.

ocbc asked why i need weixin.
That is so strange cos I just received an ad from OCBC Marketing that says

"Make instant overseas transfers to Weixin Pay and Alipay wallets

Good news! You can now send money directly to Weixin Pay and Alipay wallets at zero transfer fees, directly on the OCBC app. Wiring money back to your loved ones’ digital wallets in Mainland China has never been easier!"

operation team never talked properly to tech team lol.
Tech team abusing Android vulnerability to check what app you installed. This should be against privacy policy and should not be allowed

maybe they changed policy recently. 1 month ago, app refused to work saying i got unsafe apps. checked at counter, the first thing they asked if i installed weixin. i said yes. she asked why i need weixin. i told her to contact friends and relatives.... she told me get another phone then. i moved my account to another bank instead.
