Well after 6ish months with simba i have gone back with singtel. I will miss the roaming but i prioritise sg connection more.
Honestly speed with simba isnt the best but it works. The only major issue i have with simba is the blindspots and there is so much i need to do to report it.
Speedtest from same location-

you can guess which is what😂

Anyone has this issue where all the outgoing calls are barred when roaming in Switzerland or France? I try to disable it in the phone UI menu but it ask for password which I try 0000 or 1234 or doesn't work. Thanks

Ok I found out the answer. The roaming carrier need to support VoLTE before you can call out.

No, it is exclusively for Simba users. So if you want to use non-VoLte 4G phone to call, Simba is the only option. MyRepublic Call app is another possible option but yet to confirm.

MyRepublic Talk app works better for me, in terms of making and receiving calls - YMMV
network-wise: if want to port over for the app, recommend testing its network coverage & speed first, and see whether it works out.
the usual suggestion, get a new line, esp just before a trip, test it out. if you like, it, you can still port in later ie no need to port in at registration.

edit: also consider roaming

Good news, at least there is 1 more option to consider. This MR Talk app should be only for MR's M1 network right?

There was, but was removed for some reasons. I still have it in my samsung. Some suggested to sideload it, but i do not want to take the risk.
In your case since the app is already in your Samsung, you can upload the app (eg to Google Drive) for future use, no need to sideload from an unknown source.
