Have anyone applied for multi SIM for Simba? I did state for work use . But they rejected my request.

Does Simba SG have multi SIM?!?

I miss those days when I could leave home only with my Apple watch. That's with ST, but the reception even on the phone...

You need to have function VoLTE.
That means
1) your phone needs to support VoLTE, usually not a problem, unless one of the older ones (>5 years old) or those less common ones.
2) the network needs to support VoLTE, in SG no issue, but overseas not all network support VoLTE roaming with Simba.
3) At areas with poor reception you can use the voice app if you have other data connections. This is no longer possible if the voice app no longer works. Potentially wifi calling could be an alternative, but that doesn't work with iPhones.

No SG telco has multi-sim except for M1 & her MVNOs. Think it has something to do with IMDA

But with the extra $$$ paid for having the feature, it might be better to go for another sim with another number. Since you mentioned it's for work purpose, it should be covered right?

There's a workaround though if you have an iphone. Activate the voice app in that phone then put the sim back to where it was intended for.
There's a problem though. Outgoing calls isn't the issue, incoming calls are. You might or might not get them. I have the voice app in the background permanently, but only get incoming calls sometimes.
And if it's for your work purpose, then might as well get a new sim. Plans are quite cheap nowadays

anyone encounter poor connectivity at JB? me on $5 senior esim plan. go JB, patchy connection although full bar 4G. TNG also cant load at time.. but no problem when it detects 5G.. not sure if i choose wrong network but i set to automatic.

place i frequent is tebrau market though and that's where i encounter patchy network..

It does happen. So you may want to manually pick the network providers - Celcom, UMobile & Digi - to see if one works better for you.

Surfing 5G Simba on 5 year old iPhone, from Buona Vista to the west end. No problem.

Unless you say senior plan no good, then I won't know.
