Maybe one sim faulty in a thousand. I have experience this before. Just go down service centre and flip table change your sim card.

10 months! You station overseas? Should change SIM ASAP

probably contact issues. oxidation, dirt, grease. use an eraser and scrub the metal contact gently.

i usually encounter this issue if i swap sim card too often.

Why not change a sim card?

probably contact issues. oxidation, dirt, grease. use an eraser and scrub the metal contact gently.

i usually encounter this issue if i swap sim card too often.

I'll try vinegar to remove oxidation on it I guess

Simba $12 plan has 26GB data in china. Should be more than enough. Even if you exceed, it's $0.40/100mb or $4/gb, super affordable.

is it just go the neighbourhood counter to port-in or apply online and DIY port-in ?

mum asking me to change telco for data roaming on 1 tour ....
since current telco vivify i checked addon data plan for china is $19 i don't buy ... and it got bug cannot do normal voice call in malaysia ... I think is phone settings not auto VoLTE or what, I wasn't there to troubleshoot

yup. You can visit those service centres locations updated in their website. Those "Simba" shops you see in some neighbourhood are probably just top-up only (some i asked before).

There are quite a few service centres, go check it out.

Which area/s convenient for you? Some here might be able to share their experiences with nearby agents, for your reference.

I've gone to the ones like opposite Tiong Bahru Plaza and Clementi Central. Former to collect SIM cards, latter for top up. Staff were on the whole knowledgeable and friendly. Oh, also one inside Thomson Plaza for reload.
