Hi all, I was looking through all the NAS recommendations & I must say I am lost & overwhelm by the massive influx of information.
So I am hoping for some recommendations based on users experience.

I am looking for a simple NAS system for:
- No particular brands in mind but I am a reliability person, so I won't mind a not so good looking model but as long as it can work fine & last long enough.
- Wired connection to router
- Sharing of files within a few computers in the house
- Streaming of photos & video files to a WIFI connected TV
- If possible, sharing of printer
- If possible, those kind of smart device where it will turn off when not in use.

I am looking for 2-3TB & hopefully not more than $400, but I don't mind topping up a little if the recommended model is really good.
Thank you for reading & looking forward to the recommendations.

i wil rather you wait for the coming PC Show during 12-15 June and see from there.

the prices are alot cheaper.

but if you can't wait, Memory World in SLS is the place for you to view :)

buffalo or dlink fits your budget.

my choice is buffalo pro quad or pro duo.
have 2 dlink 323 and will not buy dlink for now due to slow firmware update.

the 2TB seagate on my Raid1 buffalo crashed, replaced it with new harddisk, raid1 rebuild and everything is fine.
