Tried three four times, gave up paiseh the long queue behind. Each time Apple Pay said ok but the reader never beep.

Probable scenario where you mentioned

Only can hope our gantries are sophisticated enough to be able to use express transit... because we know MRT will not do an overhaul and Apple will never give in.

In case anyone miss it. Maybe add on to the voices there.

I have been facing problem using Apple watch at the gantry. I can enter but when i exit, the gantry says invalid card, but the watch says “ready”.
This has been happening for the past one week and in the end the station personnel have to open the gate to let me out.
In the SimplyGo app, it deducted the full amount of $2 and indicated “missing exit”. Have to seek refund soon.

I have been using apple watch since the launch and there has been no problem until now.

No issues here. Been using my watch for quite awhile. Never had an issue.

I'm having the same issues with my iPhone. That same MasterCard is working fine when making payment at restaurants.

Happen to me twice .. once was using Google Pay on Google pixel and once is using Apple Watch ... need to submit claims

what if i forgot to tap out on bus exit gantry using my phone? noticed the transaction not reflected in simplygo app even after 12 hours. even for subsequent bus trips, they don't show up. usually it shows up within a minute..

It will appear after like 24 hours as a full trip with maximum cost with missing exit entry.
