SimplyGo with Visa

No issues using DBS Altitude Visa with Samsung pay but no notification from Simplygo app after every trip previously mastercard got notification on the fare.

Does anyone know for retail payment if we wan to use samsung pay for payment what should we tell the cashier when asked about payment mode? i said paywave but payment always fail at multiple outlet..

I usually just say paywave, autenticate then tap. No issue so far.

Yes. I open samsung pay just by swiping up from the bottom middle of the screen, scan fingerprint then tap.

I m notified my first consolidated txns for my Visa card yesterday this morning. Think visa for SimplyGo is not four days later but Everyday. Unlike MasterCard.

Same here. I made 3 trips on SC spree yesterday.

This morning at 6.42am receive sms :
First usage alert - Transaction of +SGD 5.54 was made on your credit card ****XXXX on 07-Jun-19 06:41 AM at BUS/MRT.

I suppose the 4 days means posted by 4th day.

I'm able to tap in to the bus using my Live Fresh card on my phone but got an error when I tried to tap out of the bus. Tried tapping into MRT but got the Invalid Card 20 error.

Switched to my MasterCard and I'm able to get in, what gives. There's sufficient available credit on my CC also...

From mastercard experience, the system needs time to map your virtual card to your actual card. After the mapping then will have notification

Invalid Card because of failed payment yesterday. Not sure whether it is automatically okay after payment is made.

Seems like it’s okay again since the payment went through. Hopefully this failed payment/invalid card won’t be a daily occurrence…

I have started using the dbs live fresh visa cc yesterday, first I went to GTM to switch to bank mode, then I added the card in the simply go app on evening just one minute before boarding the bus. No pb with the tap in tap out. Didn't get notification but that is expected as I just added the card and it takes some time for the notification system to be updated. This morning I received the notification upon exit, this evening too. Seems to work well all in all.

Kena charge $1.89 Unposted $1.89 in Spree.
The correct fare should be $1.20+

No such experience with MasterCard before. Anyone with same experience?

Some people had similar experience with mastercard. Anyway you can file dispute for the trip via the simplygo app.

I noticed I get sms transaction alert for the simplygo daily charged transaction for SC spree. When I use CIMB mastercard, no SMS transaction alert was received. So quite happy using VISA.

Don't understand the 1.89 vs 1.20.

1.89 is wrong fare cos "missing entry"
the correct fare for the ride is 1.29.

Some people had similar experience with mastercard. Anyway you can file dispute for the trip via the simplygo app.

Apparently for HSBC debit cards, no need to SMS to register...so can just tap and use. But because got CEPAS, need to switch card mode at the GTMs, which doesn't work as there is no option to switch from CEPAS mode to Bank Card mode. Therefore, it means that the ONLY way to use HSBC debit cards is via Apple Pay

Could be due to the sms alert setting for your credit cards..
i did not rec sms alert for my spree card too
