Laksa vs Chou Tien Chen semifinals match yesterday was super epic. Chou played like a god for the first 2 games, looked like a combination of prime LKY's speed and prime LZJ's raw power, but Laksa really hanged in there and did not let the lead get too big. 2nd game Laksa's stamina and consistency start to shine and maybe Chou used too much energy in his crazy explosive style. Once Laksa overtook Chou very late in the 2nd game, it was pretty much over. 3rd set was one sided win for Laksa.

Laksa's determination and tenacity reminded me of Christo Popov... no matter how "hot" the opponent is playing, they manage to hang in there and keep it close, until the crucial stage then their mental strength and stamina just outshines the opponent. Their ability to absorb the opponents attack while producing high quality returns and keep the rally neutral is their main strength ba. Eventually the opponent realizes every point is so difficult and energy sapping to score, so mentally they just give up and take crazy risks which lead to alot of errors and gg.
