Property tax and job uncertainty will put the buyer on the line of danger.

Aiyah, the flipper also take big risk, you know. If price not increase, they also lose money.

Edmwer don't even have guts to service the loan to pay for HDB, then jealous of flipper for what?

cause government also bo chup to prevent it. especially public housing. properties purchased in Singapore should be regulated considering limited land and such. oh wait... we need the rich to buy up all our properties.. Oh right.

Why want to prevent Singaporeans from making money? This is a weird thinking. So you want the government make Singaporeans poor, then you will be happy?

Hi , does anyone have an insight whether if the property prices is going to rise perpetually ?
Is there any chances that investors or speculators that will see the prices of property too expensive or untenable ( low yield rental rate or no hopes of appreciation) ?

best part is they tell you to sell your HDB, buy 2 small condo. 1 stay and other rent out to pay loans.

coz HDB closed the loophole for couples to decouple and buy another investment property loh.

that's why now most people in the know who rather buy HDB BTO with 1 owner and 1 occupier setup. Though this one is really leap of faith between the couple. Must really trust that person who is the owner won't divorce or sell and run away.

I think that is the best and prudent option. 1 HDB to stay in and 1 investment condo for growing your wealth.

On Valentine’s Day evening, more than a hundred people packed into a Singapore condominium showroom to learn about how to make quick profits from flipping homes in the city-state.

“If you want to be rich, you just buy property!” proclaimed Eric Chiew, a social media influencer who runs a small real estate investment consultancy. The audience, which included millennial couples with kids in tow and middle-aged locals wearing flip-flops, listened as Chiew mapped out how to make a windfall from buying and selling homes— sometimes without even having to move in.

PAP please come up with stricter measures to prevent this kind of bubble.

They should remove EC, and severely tax gains from HDB bto, especially if they use the funds to buy a condo.

HDB should be a place to stay, not to flip. And EC? **** that ****, why private need subsidies?
