Mmm don't think its like go down and immediately you'll get a slot

Plus they match you with another old guy which definitely will create problems

Best is you stay with another person you know who at least though staying with you will give you space

anyway my point is because it's not enclosed, it's infinitely cooler than sleeping in a boxed up hole so it may be a factor in them choosing not to rent

Think all the foreign workers must stay somewhere right
If you don't 'control' that then they'll stay in void decks etc

There was news about the scheme
Including the part the guy peed I think on floor and the smell is permanently there even after he left the flat

Sometimes staying outside if you have a plan isn't bad
But the government eventually will find ways to stop people from sleeping at that particular spot at void decks

I never go neo tiew also..

Dnt think I will stay in a boxes also not comfortable enough

If really poor will apply rented flat from hdb at least got shelter

For myriad reason people are homeless....


To apply for rental flat u still need a family unit or to partner another person to get a flat ....it could take sonewhere between 3 - 9 months just for queuing for house allocation

Rough sleeping may seem charming (like camping) but imagine that you may meet encounter problem by sleeping in the rough (weather, thief, harassment, insects). You probably would not have energy to deal with the day....

Don't think they will update their home address as homeless, thus address will be previous home address on their NRIC. Not sure ICA system.
