Sorry I meant comp bid

If comp bid, technically shouldn't have to set aside additional 15%

May put some just to see how it works

In bonds, the interest rate is fixed, and only short-term bills are offered at a discount.

So if they fixed it at a 3% coupon per 100 dollars, you bid at 2.8%, if the COY turns out to be 2.8%, you will need to pay much more than 100 dollars.

How you apply for doesn’t impact the results timeline.

also, it doesn’t seem like you have visited their website.

because if you had done so, you will see that it says, “Auction results will be available after the auction closes. Please check back after 1pm on 29 Jan 2024.”

link: https://www.mas.gov.sg/bonds-and-bi...nds?issue_code=NX16100F&issue_date=2024-02-01

Notes that you want people to share actual experience rather than theoretical.

but some information can be found online yourself without being shared by others.

My impression is that SGS bond auction results are more punctual than T-bill results.

Maybe there are fewer applicants?

This time the bid-to-cover ratio is also quite high - 3.2 - like the last T-bill auction.

I bid 3 but used cpf OA. I don't have enough to cover 115% but enough for the final proceeds. Application went through though

Will see if I get allotted

You're getting all that you requested if you either bid under 3.04% cut-off yield or placed a noncompetitive bid.
I bid for x amount but I don't have 115% of x in my cpf OA. There was at the point of application but since then an amount had been deducted for the recent tbill auction.
