Hmm usually this is golden rule but with exceptions

Eg if a toddler already ate 10 sweets then nope , lkk will not give him his 11th candy cos he needs to Jiak lunch and kids won’t control their intake of snacks like a rational grown up

if he is a teenager then lkk will give them chance to try and let them know the pros n cons of their own choice

if a chronic patient with 3 high but doc say 3rd high is needing monitoring but not yet needing a med , but elderly diedie want to buy e medicine and Jiak e Med for 1/4 piece a day cos of doc ‘s statement

doc say no cure but this human insisting to try some alternative which he /she thought might alleviate their agony Eg maybe going to ask gods , or say drinking holy ash water

I sure tell them my thoughts gently but surely let them try cos this is e placebo which they felt will help them .. why take away liberty (dignity) from them ?

We assume ppl know what s best for themselves but we forget nobody is wisest or all knowing so we don’t know what is best because of limited knowledge.

Some times for mild stuff , one needs to be given liberty to try and bang against wall to learn life’s lessons. We all need it sometimes to mature n grow wiser otherwise we could be always asking “what if” when time passes.

Sometimes one needs to have ppl they trust to learn what re all available options for them to make an informed decision .
