our competition event, got 1 school teacher informed us one of his students pulling out cos he cut his toe

i told my 22 yo intern to reply noted with thanks and add 1 line about hope your student recovers swiftly

my intern replied that she will reply the noted part but not the recover swiftly part cos she doesn't care about the student

i was like i don't know how to rebut her because what she said wasn't wrong

in the end she never come in due to training, so i replied to the teacher accordingly, and when i met teacher in person i also asked about the student again
