i'll keep $10k inside to grow at 1%... move the rest to other 0.5% or higher accounts (most likely toggle between HSBC EGA and eSaver). So here is my question about what to do in light of this latest drop:
On 1 July, should one surrender the policy in its entirety thereby closing the account OR keep the minimum required S$500 in it so that one doesn't have to go throught the hassle of opening it again if and when needed in the future? I am tempted to do the latter.
I intend to do this, and shift to Etiqai'll keep $10k inside to grow at 1%... move the rest to other 0.5% or higher accounts (most likely toggle between HSBC EGA and eSaver).
Yah me too.. I can still manage to get 1.5% for 10k...the rest I would shift to Gigantiq for 1% cos already fulfilled the first 10k there for 1.8%...hopefully its doesn't nerf too..I intend to do this, and shift to Etiqa

Let's hope that she doesn't bring along the conservative culture of DBS and remove all the goodies now that the market share is captured.

Not too many options I agree. 3 thoughts as of today:
I already moved 10K out to Dash Pet which I had not subscribed to before. (I realize it is only an additional S$30 for the year, but it is psychological more than anything, and the temptation to lock in the rate for a year at least.)
Meanwhile will use June to study how those various 'cash management' options offfered by the likes of Syfe work.
And maybe I'll persist with DBS Multiplier which I was planning to give up. Although I do wonder if a cut in the bank interest rates is not too far behind.
i suppose can move to dash pet or elastiq if you havent hit the max
