nope. I did ask Singlife, they say it's ok to keep it at $0, there is no cost/maintenance fees. Initially I wanted to close the account, now I'm still thinking.

I just went to their website. Don't see the statement that cannot open account anymore. Guess they start to allow after cutting rates.

They should have opened up now after July when the newer interest schemes came in and revised rates. It's technically not possible to go below $100, the app will keep prompting to close the account if goes below $100

Seems like there another layer of authentication now if you top up grab using singlife debit card and sometimes it will fail.

Haha, either Grab or SingLife is getting smarter. My grabpay failed to topup for this month. Err msg was topup unsucessful. Tried to top up yesterday and today. Both times failed.

I still unable to top up G wallet despite Singlife said the issue has been resolved. And when I tried to fill up the help form, the issuing bank field is restricted to banks. How smart!

Anybody received an sms/ email from SingLife informing that all transfers from 3rd party accounts will not be allowed going forward ?
And asked you to explain the recent transactions done with 3rd party accounts on :
• Relationship
• 3rd party Date of Birth and Occupation
• Reason of transfer

my family member transferred a few thousand dollars to my account and i kena this notification, quite odd...

They started by blocking my top up to Grab App several weeks ago
this whole month i wont be getting bonus interest for debit spend

and in future all transfers from and to 3rd party accounts will be blocked !

And the hotline officer even said that it's stated in the T&C that we cannot transfer from and to 3rd party's bank and even Joint accounts, can only transfer to/frm account regiatered with my own name

So nobody kenna this...? why am i so suay

Purposed fulfilled. They dont need this fund raising mechanism. Expect more restrictions going forward

Transfering funds to other people is like the most normal thing to do when u have a bank account,
so i dun understand why u say i give myself problem, somemore it is not even a large transfer to begin with

And topping up to Grab App via the debit card is not going against any rules either and many ppl are doing it also

because singlife is not a bank account?

They already say should be transferring to/from self
