The 2.5% is not guaranteed but is there a minimum interest rate?

If they paid a (minimum) interest of 0.05 % p.a. (like normal Singapore bank savings accounts) or even 0 % p.a., they would be telling the truth (with their advertisement).

Can you trust a company that is not upfront?

That's not a similar product at all. Singlife's bank-like account comes with a Visa card and allows you to add and/or remove funds any time you wish, without a surrender penalty.

Aviva's offer might still be a good offer for certain purposes, but it's a very different offer.

Regarding withdrawal of funds, is it similar to withdrawal for robo advisors, i.e. 1 or 2 working days to receive fund?

I think i ask them also no use. They don't know their own product. Anyone here who is already using, can answer for me?

1. Can top-up with credit cards?
2. Can withdraw to bank?
3. What's the max transaction amounts?
4. They claim no forex fees. But how's the spread?
5. Also, just in case: what the **** $5k minimum is this idiot talking about?

Or really as per advertised, not guaranteed and may get nothing?

Based on the FAQs, we can check the monthly interest credited to us and see if it is 2.5% p.a.

Question:
How is interest calculated if my account value is changing daily? When is it credited into my account value?

Answer:
Interest is calculated daily and credited to your account value on a monthly basis.

The interest will be credited on the first day of the following policy month.

Question:What are the crediting rates offered under the Singlife Account?

Answer:For the first 20,000 customers, we offer the following crediting rates:
2.5% p.a. of the account value between $100.00 and $10,000.00

1% p.a. of the account value between $10,000.01 and $100,000.00

0% p.a. of the account value above $100,000.00

Please refer to the Cover Page for more information and numerical sample illustrations.
*****

Does that mean that the 20,001 customer onwards will get another set of interest rates? Or just only 20,000 customers are allowed to open the account?
