Hi, I have a question.

How long does it take for the funds to be processed into the Singlife account? I've searched online and it seems instantaneous but when I transferred from my local bank account, it is not reflected on the Singlife app but the money is still deducted from my bank account.

No, did a few transfers previously already. First time try to do a transfer on a Sunday.

How does the Singlife retrenchment benefit for the account work?

It's says the benefit is only for a year since policy start date.

It also says The Retrenchment Benefit will not be payable if You are retrenched within the first six (6) months from the
Policy Start Date.

So there is only a 6 months window for you to be retrenched in before you qualify for the benefit?

That is such a narrow impossible window

Are you using UOB, OCBC etc to FAST in?

If you use DBS/POSB to fund Singlife, it will be DBS "internal transfer", hence, shld usually be more stable & faster(within 10 seconds).

However, on a side note, for transferring out of Singlife (even if it is to a DBS bank acct), it will be FAST. Hence, usually takes around 5 mins to reflect.

You may want to check if your funds transfer from DBS is “FAST” or “normal”.

Is your DBS statement showing "ITR" transaction code? ITR is for transfers between DBS bank accounts(including Singlife's DBS account).

And, this "15 days to update" is even slower than if cheques are used to fund accounts.

My DBS statement shows OTHR. I clicked "Transfer to other DBS/POSB Account".

Weirdly, i have another friend that is experiencing the same problem and he also transferred on the same day...

"Transfer Funds to Another DBS or POSB Account" is correct. Strange that your transaction code is not ITR.
