Just kena letter 2 weeks ago from RHB for termination of my account hahaha.

Probably left it at $0 for too long.

Not all 3 months though.. only July and Sep (unless you have two RHB accounts to play with..

Am going to dump my entire Singlife balance (less min. balance) over to RHB (1.3%) for July, then August dump it back to Singlife/eSaver (1%/0.5%) and then September dump it into RHB (1.3%) again.

Until there are better promos out there..

yes you can open online, actually it's surprisingly very easy.

1. download the RHB Singapore app.
2. register and setup your app account (use SingPass).
3. once account is setup, register for HYS+ account. You'll receive SMS notification when the account is up and ready, then u can immediately setup FAST transfer in from other bank.

that's it! I got mine setup today in less than 2 hours no need to call bank/talk to any CSO.

I think it's a known trick but honestly for extra 0.5% for $10k, that's about $4+ per month
