From their CS, you may terminate your Singlife account by going to the Singlife app, clicking on the account details, clicking on the manage account function and you may choose the terminate/cancel account function there. Once successful the funds will be refunded to your previously linked bank account within 3 hours.

Please note that the Singlife account is a once-a-lifetime account once terminated you will not be able to reinstate or register a new account.
Thanks for the info. That is convenient. Singlife seems like no life already. But still I'll just keep it for a little longer to see ba.

You might have mis-intepreted their T&Cs, apply is only 1 time.

If terminated liao cannot re-apply, because only can reinstate.

Reinstatement of policy is at their mercy, but not really gg la.

That was the reply from their CS. According to them, If one terminated the account, he/she cannot re-apply or reinstate.

CS doesn't necessary mean they sure know exactly what their T&Cs is saying. so need to read their T&Cs

Yeah, but subject to their approval is not the same as “cannot reinstate”. It’s explicitly stated that reinstatement is possible.
Nevertheless, it will be up to each individual whether he/she want to risk of being unable to reinstate in the future.

Doubt they’ll reinstate. Singlife existed only as a fund generator for acquisition of Aviva. now that that’s done, no real desire to keep it.

I received a phone call from a man claiming to be from Singlife. I have an account with them a few years ago paying 1% interest, but have since transferred the bulk of money out

Now this guy wants me to upload a scanned copy of my NRIC for verification purposes. He followed up by sending me an email.

Cant remember whether I opened my account using SingPass. Did anybody received such an email or calls?

Never, best call/email Singlife directly to verify.
