Hi ,

How do you all find Singlife service?

My friend was frustrated about the policy lapse until he found out after 6 months reminded by his agent. No sms, app or any call from the representative to remind customer to pay on time.

Don’t they send communication about payment?

Verified with singlife staff that they just informed customer to download app. Which customer will download app for the benefit of checking reminder about insurance?

You don't need to download app to check, just go to their website and login.

These kind of things also better to just set auto payment.

Since it has lapsed, you can consider trying to reinstate since it's just 6 months in, and you can also explore if you might be able to get better rates elsewhere.

Totally **** up. Singlife is total **** company. Your friend is lucky he is reminded. My wife one got terminate for some peanuts shortfall. Their knn bill also write till 1/2 ****. PhD and MBA also got problem reading. To cover ass, best to do giro. If today need to choose insurance company, I take those kachang puteh fintech ones over Singlife.

Actually can just tell them to F off. If they want to behalf like fintech or those digital insurance, then they don’t charge big guns insurance price la. Want to provide pasar malam service then don’t expect ppl to pay them big dollars mah. Today got eyes one can compare how much premium they make. Don’t treat us like carrot head.

Just like Geylang freelance wants to charge actress kind of charges but provide service in 1* hotel, don’t waste our time la

Think of it this way. If a company is so lousy even in servicing the client (when nothing happens). Do you believe the company will willing compensate you if something really happens? If suddenly your house caught fire, then they will blame it on your faulty electronics, your pet dog, your neighbour etc. Then try all their best to prata here and there till you give up. I rather bite my bullet and go elsewhere rather than regret when my house really catch fire

My personal experience. My wife was getting great service from Aviva until they got acquired by Singlife.

If don’t believe, can always buy from them then later see whether your agent still around. For me, I rather be on the safe side. Even if the most expensive home insurance cost 20% more, also worth since house is like millions. In 2024 alone, my agent change 3 times. My wife had policy from great eastern. Her agent 15 years still around and still received his new year and Christmas wishes.
