I'm getting almost non-existent upload speeds for my 3mbps ADSL line. The download speeds are fine, but normal usage and speed tests show that the upload speed is <0.1kpbs, well below expectations (even when given that it is Singnet).

Anyone has such experience?

NOTE Please do NOT:
1. Suggest a change of ISP (still under contract)
2. Suggest a change to fibre/cable (not yet under current plans)
3. Say something along the lines of "It's Sinknet, what do you expect?" (doesn't help)
4. Switch off various anti-virus and other bandwidth sucking programs (it happens even with a clean Windoze install)

Long time user. They still have the old plan on recontract.

Not at home, so I cannot post test results as of now. When I tested last night, I got a download speed of ~2.9mpbs, in line with what the contract says. The upload is atrocious at <0.1kpbs, if the upload test can even run. Attempting to upload attachments on email is a big headache, let alone uploading on remote desktop or SSH to servers on local public institutions. This only started months ago. Over the years that I have used the ADSL service, I had no such issues.

I'm using a wired LAN at home. I have no problems with my local network.

u need to check the line stats on how much the upload speed is.

u can also try ask singnet to change the line card at the exchange. or reconfigure your adsl line profile at their backend.

Line stats? You mean on the contract, or elsewhere?

I don't know what you mean by line card either.
