stuck 1.74. Wait for it to distribute finish. might take some time. Cheers to those who are vested below 1.7 :s12::s12:

Yeah. With dividend of 2.5c coming in mid-July, it'll bring the average cost down further. :)

And another 1.25c dividend coming in August.

would it be wise to enter Singpost now? ($1.76)

Hard to say. Lots of sell down before closing. Wait a while tomorrow for remaining people to sell down. Watch for volume spikes from those buying up. Make sure got enough strength to break 1.775. If you have market depth, it will help a lot to detect selling pressure.

I sold HALF .. and now I don't even have to worry about it falling or rising... as I've more or less recovered my capital .

I will only add when it dropped back to $1.4-1.5 level. No hurry.

It will be a VERY VERY long time before it drop back to 1.4 - 1.5. Not even 1.6.

1.7 is the new support. See the white hammer on friday? There's enough buyers at 1.7. So many shortist tio squeezed. It will continue to consolidate.

Right after Alibaba announcement, it shot to 1.68. Many people keep saying "wait til it die down back to 1.5 then I go in", but nope it didn't. It will not fall unless fund managers and banks decided to cash out on signpost. But they have no reason to kill this golden goose (yet?).

This is only the first flag breakout since announcement. I see more upside in the near future.

Not a call to buy. Do your own research. Not vested. Took my profit during the breakout.

P.S I don't do FA. Non at all. Except for occasional news that I happen to read on newspaper.

Retail investors will wait till SingPost earnings start to go up before buying in. By then, the smart money are already waiting to cash out. :)

Next earnings results will be in July. But I think will need to wait till 2 or 3 quarters later for earnings growth to show.

As long as a you can spot BB buy-in (Volume), you can safely assume the price they got in is a soft-support. In Singpost case, 1.70.

Study the most recent breakout of SMRT, it shares similar characteristic with Singpost.

Both hit the resistance level once with high volume, then continues to trade in a VERY NARROW range near the resistance but with low volume. Then finally breaking out the resistance with high volume.

Are there any other counters that is going through similar motion as Singpost/SMRT?
Yes. And its QT Vascular.
It hit resistance level, 0.550, on 18th Jun with high volume.

If it continues to trade within the narrow range near 0.550, we might see a possible breakout soon? No one knows, but I am merely pointing out the similarity.

Sometime signals are obvious if you know where to look. Sometimes its not so obvious, thats when you need proper risk management and stop loss before you enter.

Once again, not a call for buy. Do your own research.

Cheers!
