Same. Eligible now for recontract and this is all Cso said was available for me. They just said to check again closer to contact end for better offer.

3Gbps Enhanced (WiFi 7) Plan at $49.90/mth (U.P. $55.90/mth) + FREE $50 Shopping Voucher
- Comes with 1 unit of Singtel WiFi 7 Router (TP-Link BE11000)

Or upgrade to

10Gbps Enhanced Plan at $79/mth (U.P. $110.69/mth) + Lifestyle Gadget
Comes with:

1x TP-Link WiFi 7 Router (HB810 BE22000)

Choice of Lifestyle Gadget:
Samsung HD 50" UHD TV
iPad A16 WiFi 128 GB
Dyson Supersonic
Mowe Smarthome
Dyson V12
same here, just got the reply from their cso. $49.90 for 3gbps.

seems like now singtel outsource all their cso to foreigners who cannot even communicate in simple english. whatsapp their hotline to ask for recontract offers, the guy keep telling me i need to "create account" to verify myself, i keep asking him what account he just keep repeating and going in circles. previously only need to fill in a short form to verify identity. i gave up talking to him and sent an enquiry through their app, today come the reply which the english also cmi, and give me the $49.90 for 3gbps offer.

not the first time i having difficulty communicating with their cso... pissed off seriously.

Thought usually shop offer is what is stated online?

The shop may have a counter which can give retention offer. They may be able to offer better deals than the normal Singtel online offers.

There are other reports as well here using 1688, but ask to be transferred to the retention department.

FYI: last time the Singtel Jurong Point Singtel TV counter also functioned as the retention counter for Fibre Internet. But they have changed in Oct 2024 (when I cancelled my Singtel TV). Now I am not sure if there is still a counter which can handle retention offer.

BTW, now there seem to be no good "hidden link recontract offer". The reported better recontract offer is S$39.90 per month with two HB611-SGST. But there is no "hidden link" for this offer. That means you either get the offer from Singtel (targeted offer), or you have to negotiate with Singtel to get it.

The best reported recontract offer recently is S$34.90 per month for Singtel 3Gbps plan, with two HB611-SGST. But I think that is a special case and the user jumped ship already.

I treid to keep the sticky thread up to date with all the hidden links. Now I also include description of recontract offers (no hidden link), at least for the big three (Singtel, Starhub and M1).

Singtel new home offer: pretty good offer if you just want a stable ISP, do not mind using ONR and a few other bad points of SingTel (eg: potential routing issues to some International locations which may cause problems with gaming).

https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/broadband/eform/new-homes

3Gbps Enhanced (WiFi 7) Plan at $29.90/mth (U.P. $55.90/mth)
  • Comes with XGS-PON Optical Network Router + 1 unit of Singtel WiFi 7 Router (TP-Link BE11000)

3Gbps Mesh (WiFi 7) Plan at $38.70/mth (U.P. $73.90/mth)
  • Comes with XGS-PON Optical Network Router + 2 units of Singtel WiFi 7 (TP-Link BE11000)

Hello, SH increasing prices again... Thinking to terminate both broadband, TV and switch to ST broadband with standalone Netflix and viu subscriptions. May I know does singtel 3gb broadband works with Google nest wifi? Any restrictions?

Thank you in advance!

Please check out Starhub thread and the sticky thread first.
https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/...eed-3gbps-5gbps-10gbps-plans.7024290/page-337

Starhub got 3Gbps plan at S$29.55 with free HB410. Some Starhub customers can get 10Gbps recontract offer at S$30.49 per month with free HB710.

Google Nest WiFi is the worst mesh solution to go with SingTel ONR, as it does not support mesh in AP mode.

Just installed the 5gbps system and apparently it is only limited to 2.5gbps due to the access point (HB611). I had the impression that there will be two output ports from the router (2.5Ggbps each) and runs directly to the two individual access points. But seems like there is only one 5gbps port from the router to the access point only and 2nd access point would be a wireless mesh, which is dumb. This does not seem to align with what the sales person told me. whats the point of getting 5gbps then..

Yes, HB611-SGST is not a good match for 5Gbps plan as it is limited by the 2.5Gbe WAN.

But you can try to utilise more bandwidth if you really want to.

The ONR has one 10Gbe port and three (Nokia XS-240X-A) or four 1G LAN ports (ZTE F8648P).

1) You already connect the main HB611-SGST to the 10G port. That is 2.5Gbps bandwidth.

2) You can connect the second HB611-SGST to one of the 1G LAN ports. That is another 1Gbps bandwidth.

3) You can connect more wired devices to the other 1G ports, that will be another 2Gbps (Nokia) or 3Gbps (ZTE) bandwidth.

In total, you can consume about 4.5Gbps (Nokia) or fully utilise the 5Gbps bandwidth (ZTE).

But if you want, you can also sell the two HB611-SGST and top up a bit to get one Archer BE805 (dual 10G ports, about S$300) to fully utilise the bandwidth.

Most of the people do not really care about fully utilising the bandwidth. And in reality, 99% of the users do not need 5Gbps bandwidth anyway and will be okay with even 1Gbps bandwidth. They upgrade to 3Gbps plan (S$39.90 per month with two HB611-SGST) or 5Gbps plan since the price is similar compared to 1Gbps plan (typically S$40.65 per month with a lousy router).

I can only fully utilise the 5Gbps bandwidth when I carry out OOkla SpeedTest.

Thanks for the response and the recommendations. i know we can never utilise the speed fully but they should at least sell a product that can fully utilise the bandwidth. Guess will have to look elsewhere after 2 years. Haha.
