Just curious, any idea what happens if lets say i decide to terminate my whole family's singtel accounts - 6 x hp lines with contracts and 2 x mio tv + internet?

I am assuming i will run up to about 6k to payback. Will it be possible to return them in like say instalments or must pay back full 6k at once?

Anyone knows?

Because singtel always keep changing their terms. Getting tired of it so thinking of terminating all my family's lines under them. U a singtel supporter huh?

Won’t consider myself a fan. Just appreciate their solid mobile networks why don’t u finish out your contract and make your next move?

Its not wise to terminate the contract, as per normal you still pay almost the same price in the contract. Anyway if you got the amount to spend, you can always hop out of the telco!

In your case, you are most likely enjoying SingTel Circle benefits like annual handset upgrade and good discount on the mobile phone side.

You'd better come out the exit plan and do the math. Usually it is not worth to fork out S$6k for the penalty.

Once you have done the exit plan, you can execute the plan step by step -- cancel SingTel TV, change to different Internet provider, port out the phone number to SIM only plan of SingTel or other telco, etc.

Normally you will not go to the extreme and cancel all plans in one go.

btw, other telcos also change their T&C anytime, not only singtel. so doesnt matter which telco you going to sign next, you will still face with the same issues
