Not sure if this is the correct forum to ask this.

Considering Singtel CAST to be able to watch upcoming season of EPL and hopefully all the other football related channels. However I'm hearing conflicting reports on CAST.

Website says that ALL EPL matches are available to watch on CAST. However, when I called them to inquire, they cannot seem to give me a definitive answer on whether they truly offer all the MIO Stadium channels. They simply say they have channels 102 to 107 (or is it 108) and that those channels consist of MIO Stadium, FOX Sports, etc.

Anybody who has subscribed to this service able to give me an answer? I'm not keen to take subscribe to CAST if lets say on match day itself, I end up only being able to watch only 1 single match (likely the main match of the day) instead of being able to choose other matches.

Why not subscribe for 1 month 1st? The one without contract. If not satisfied than just cancel. Only downside you waste $49.90

I am about to do the same thing

You need to subscribe to the Sports Pack, not just CAST.

not too sure as I don't watch soccer, but so far I subscribe to the fox+ pack for tennis can watch all the live fox sports channels.

As it's streaming it will always lag behind actual by about 30s? 1min? Depends.

CAST will be streaming the first weekend matches for free as long as you have a CAST account.

Yeah, just heard on radio about it. Already have a CAST account created. Gonna give their service a try this weekend and then see if worth.

I have it for one year (last season) and zero complaints. I use iPad app, iPhone app and also android TV app to access.

There is a thread in EDMW on this too.

Hi Singtel,

I was told the 12-month contract offer is only valid for current Singtel mobile or TV subscriber. I'm unable to signed up for a 12-month contract and am now on a no-contract subscription.

Is this working as intended?

Hi Kiingntr,

Thanks for checking, we confirm that the Singtel CAST Sports Plus offer of 3 free months on a 12-month contract is a benefit that our CAST team is extending to existing Singtel customers.

Hope this clarifies.

These marketing gimmicks only serves to insult consumer's intelligence. First with so-called free 24 months switch to fiber promo and now this.

Entire football season is around 10 months, so realistically this is 2 months free at best. Taking into consideration all the international weeks in-between, you need to be a real dumb football fan to lock yourself into a 12 months contract. Unless of course you watch every sport that these channels offer.

Yes.

I'm now on trial and using M1 fiber. During trial as non singtel customer get lesser trial channel to view.

But what you start paying you "should" have access to the channel u paid.

2. Who is eligible to subscribe for CAST?
CAST is currently available for Singtel Postpaid Mobile subscribers, Singtel Fibre Broadband subscribers and Singtel TV subscribers. Do note that this service is not available to mio Stadium+ and Cross-carriage subscribers.

Non-Singtel customers are able to subscribe to beIN SPORTS, beIN SPORTS RUGBY, Sports Plus, Chinese Plus, Lifestyle Plus, Education Plus, Entertainment Plus and Learning Plus by paying through their credit or debit card. Find out more by clicking on the different packs on www.cast.sg.

Otherwise, you may go directly to Sports Plus, CAST Mini Packs, and beIN SPORTS. You will need to log in first or create a CAST account, to subscribe using credit card.

Not sure why China state-run CCTV propaganda news outlet is broadcasting on Singtel cast. Maybe SG has too many Chinese nationals and they are targeting them as audience.
