Singtel Combo 12 $500 voucher

Hi all
When I signed up for combo 12, I was told that I will be given a $500 voucher every year. I was told I can use the voucher to buy anything.

But now that have received a voucher, they state that the voucher can only be used if I recontract the plan or sign up on a new plan. I am quite certain I did not see this in the terms and conditions when I first signed up for it.

Have I been scammed or what?

Not sure what was the conversation between u and the sales guy, but this information was available everywhere including online. The voucher is intended for annual recontract or signing up a new line and people use it to offset equipment purchase with a recontract.

Do you need to pay the 350? If yes then bohua, only 150 left. If no need then ok, recontract and sell the phone? But this plan the phone also quite cheap so doubt can use up the 500.

1 is a combo 3 , the other combo 12- i will get an yearly $500 handset upgrade voucher -
Can i use that voucher from my combo 12 plan to offset any phone purchase w my combo 3 plan?

Or can i only use the voucher for my combo 12 line?

The penalty cost for re-contracting on after 12 months is $500, and that $500 is to offset that $500 penalty so u can re-contract and get another phone.

Just following up on this, if anyone has experience to use the $500 for another line? I have 2 combo 12 plans and I am thinking of using the one that is going to expire soon for the other line first. I tried online and not able to do so.

Also, the T&C states that I can purchase the handset at retail price by using the voucher. So if I would like to cancel the line, I can use the voucher to buy any phone with contract?

8.2 Voucher is issued once every 12 months to active Customer on eligible Mobile plan. The voucher is valid for 12 months.There shall be no extension of the expiry date.
