Resetting the network settings will lose all your previously connected Wi-Fi settings and password.

It will also affect other devices that is also synced to your iCloud Keychain for the Wi-Fi passwords and settings.

Comparing to losing whole phone and restore from backup, I rather I lose the network wifi credentials.. Lol.

I think there's an option on icloud to pause the sync on this..

the places i go to .. macdonalds ... causeway point ... food republic ... all got wifi .. although the more crowded the area .. the slower the traffic .. but most of the time still decent experience browsing ... like uploading photos and streaming IP cam okay leh ...

In such a case due to heavy load it could be an one time thing due to a surge in connected devices. Otherwise, if u go to less crowded areas Singtel Wifi actually allow wireless ac link rate of up to 866mbps.

You may also find that the initial connection to Singtel Wifi is a little slow and it will have authentication error, but the next time u click on it the error should resolve itself.. This is not the same as residential wifi cos your house router only handle that few devices while outside, one access point might be handling a bunch of devices at one go..

Thanks - I will monitor around my area which is Raffles Place as it seems there are hundreds if not thousands probably connected into it.

Was overseas and using an overseas SIM card. Updated carrier settings using the overseas SIM card and when I swap back to my SingTel card in Singapore not able to connect to singtel wifi

Anybody face such issue before? How did u resolve
Hi Greysky,

Kindly follow these steps to restore Singtel WiFi connectivity on your SIM card.

(1) Take out SIM card at a location with Singtel WiFi, and put it back again.

Locations with Singtel WiFi can be found in the link below:
https://www.singtel.com/personal/i/phones-plans/mobile/postpaid/combo/singtel-wifi

(2) If the above method does not work, kindly go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Do note that this step will also remove all your stored WiFi passwords.

Do let us know if you need further assistance, thanks.

Do you guys always/sometimes kenna unable to surf when connected to Singtel Wifi?

I really hate it - at Raffles Place always connected but unable to receive anything.

I was expecting friend to message me over Whatsapp but when I opened always on Connecting.

The staff told me it was due to many people connecting.

I really contemplating to forget this wifi as the failure rate is around 80% - gives me more problem than convenience or savings.

already forget long ago, as long you have sufficient data use your mobile, wifi will give more problem then helping

Thanks Bro!

I just upped Datax2 also - should be enough.

Last time 3GB also enough, but need constant checking and once close to threshold has to limit my activities which is wasting my time - end up pay $5.90 easier for me.
