SingTel Mobile Data Speed

Hi guys,

Just want to check what's your mobile data speed like? For my knowledge, I understand download speed should always be higher than upload speed in normal internet speed cases. But this is my singtel mobile data speed:

is this normal for mobile speed?

maybe u can list out the phone and plans u are using?

next to it the speed depends on a lot of variables as well. so its petty hard to gauge u are getting a good speed or not.

like your phone can only support either 3g or 3.5g speed or the network is too congested esp in a shopping mall etc. all these define the test results.

anyway base on such speed and u are just normal surfing its good enough. as for why download speed is lower than upload i have no idea, as mine do have some times where download is higher than upload.

Depending on the location and signal as well.

Usually got good results (4G is faster than SingTel Wifi for me) from SingTel.

Three year old iPhone 6S, SingTel Combo 2 plan, Orchard Road, MacDonald Lucky Plaza.

For me it's always Download speed higher than Upload speed.

For 4G so far this is my experience.

For Fibre Internet it depends, most of the time I got faster upload than download.

actually, SingTel LTE CAT18 can theoretically go up to 1Gbps, but what will you use it for on your mobile device and miserly SingTel data plan?

Sorry for the late reply. Im using their SIM only plan, and my phone is OnePlus 5.

I tested the network at CCK and Jurong East.

I think your download speed is on the Low side. Just did the test again at home, Jurong West area, SingTel Combo 2 plan, iPhone 6S
