I don't think it works well.
The prepaid SIM card is normal SIM.

Postpaid lines are using USIM.

Mine I tried using 11.5 yrs old POD-SingTel prepaid sim and it don't work. My 2 yrs old 3G singtel prepaid also don't work.

Mine is the 4G nano sim. I have auth error on wireless@sgx.
I ask singtel and they doesnt know anything about eapsim auth. They tell me to enter username and password.

If you're talking about SingTel WiFi, that's exclusively for their postpaid customers. Prepaid customers cannot access it.

I am using galaxy note 4. If i change to starhub/singtel postpaid sim, i am able to connect. If i use singtel prepaid sim, it say eapsim auth error.

Check this page: New Enhancement - Infocomm Landscape - Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore

Alternatively, visitors can buy a local prepaid SIM card from M1 and StarHub to log on to Wireless@SG via the SIM-based login feature.

It doesn't mention SingTel prepaid. So I guess ST prepaid users cannot use SIM authentication. You have to use the normal username/password authentication or switch to M1 or StarHub prepaid.

SingTel do not support wireless@sg or sgx on prepaid

SingTel do not support wireless@sg or sgx on prepaid. It was indicated in their website. In their webpage under Home Tab --> Wireless@SG

Difference between the 2 is just that one requires login and the other requires pre-config and will auto-login everytime you connect.

Just saw it. I call singtel hotline. If doesnt support then they should tell me straight away. Put me on hold so long, yet never tell me.

I have the same issue, ie not able to use the wireless@sgx with my Singtel prepaid card.

However as my sg@wireless account is using M1, I downloaded the m1 sg@wireless connect app on my note3.

Using the app with my profiles updated, I can connect to wireless@sgx automatically now. So maybe you guys can try it.

At least it's working for me as of 30mins ago when I came back to office
