Anyone has use Singtel ReadyRoam 1gb 7 days plan without problem ?

My recent experiences really bad. Subscribe this Singtel ReadyRoam 1gb 7 days plan to Bangkok for four mobile numbers.

Activated and when over there only two mobile numbers can be connected to the data plan (on an Iphone and Samsung) and another two mobile numbers failed to connect to the data plan (on a HuaWei and HTC).

All can login to the same Thai moblie operator (AIS) and even follow Singtel re-configure the APN for the Huawei and HTC and still failed to connect to the data.

S$10 just throw into the drain...

what model were the Huawei and HTC phones? bought in SG or online (China?)... it's remotely possible that they were trying to connect using some unsupported frequency and that downgrading to 3G might have helped...

So far Singtel Readyroam has been the most stable and hassle free for me. If your 2 lines have not utlilised any overseas data, you might want to try calling in to Singtel for waiver.

For the HTC phone usually I am using StarHub happy roam for coming to two years and it never fail me in data connection when overseas. This time I tried Singtel ReadyRoam and was fully regretted and I bought a local data Sim card to use.

For the Huawei is Mate9.

Did you try to you swap the SIM cards over to the iPhone or Samsung?

This is to verify SIM or phone issue.

100% confirmed all four mobile phones the Data Roaming were switch on.

The HTC and Huawei can do normal International call without problem as both were on AIS network .Both phones at their signal strength top portion showed a letter "R".

After re-verified with Singtel again, they are referring beside switch on the data roaming in the mobile phone setting itself , you still need to "enable" the data roaming function in the MySingtel app.

Strange thing was that both my other Samsung and iPhone do not need to do this step. Now than notice both my HTC and Huawei have this function need to enable inside MySingtel App, think will try again on my next overseas trip to confirm and verify.

The SingtelApp is for network side
The one in your phone is phone side.
You need both enabled to use data roaming.

Those need to disable on network side either have data leaking or don't know how to use their phone.
