Hey guys, I'm thinking of porting over to Circles Life. checked on Singtel and looks I have to pay $650 of penalty fee for terminating.

anyone knows if I can just ignore this payment and go on with life? :s13:

They will blacklist your nric.
All related Singtel services will be terminated and barred.

Will send you few reminder letters.
There do have such cases.

Good luck man. Once your credit rating goes stale, you wont be able to come back to singtel already.. Also, you might also get yourself in law suit if they decided to sue you..

Your payment will remind @ there. Unless you say, you forever don't sign singtel.

You signed the contract in the first place, so it is legally binding for you to either fulfill the contract or pay the penalty. I don't know what they can do to you, but I don't think it is worth it saving a bit of money and potentially get your credit rating downgraded. Its like you save a bit of money and throw away your reputation kind of scenario. Rep once lost is not easy to build back.

Yeah. I heard credit rating downgraded cannot be regained. Same as owing bank money..
