I want to switch from Singtel to Simba because Singtel is slightly more expensive. I also want my S23 ultra to perform like it's brand new, with fast processing and downloading speeds, as well as quick web browsing for 4 years. Ideally, the battery should not drain quickly( x 2 faster) and should feel as if it's brand new. Is it possible for me to achieve these while saving $100 per month for the next 4 years? Just to get new phone.

Also Simba line receptions good in tunnel, underground, mrt turnnel, buildikg with no antenae? Whole of Singapore coverage?

You may want to look else where. Simba is not known to be fast or good coverage. Granted in normal populated areas and roads there is good reception, but there are also areas with zero reception.

I have a S23 on Simba. My own experience is their 5G is only around 100+Mbps, basically like 4G speed in other telcos, and 4G can be down to single digit during peak hours. MRT reception is just downright bad in green line tunnels during peak hours, but outdoor sections are not too bad (no interruptions when watching YouTube 720p). Reception can be spotty around Mandai area.

But I am still sticking with them, reason being they are the cheapest. At $5/10 per month I can live with it.

4g low 2 digit can be called good network by "some"

Will recommend you to consider the Zym Roam Plus 4G or Vivifi Vibe 4G.

You might want to rethink you plan, going from Singtel Postpaid to Simba is like going from first world to third. It’s less about absolute speed, more about lacklustre network availability .

But then again no contract, you can port out after 1 mth if unsatisfied.

Am a simba user for months now, their network is acceptable. It's better than M1, i'm a M1 user for decades before moving to simba. Though i don't really fancy singtel due to their prices, but i have to respect that they have the best network in terms of network coverage and speed. However, singtel has its flaws too, their latency is higher than M1 and Simba. Sometimes webpages loading speed on singtel is quite slow despite having high speed test. Hence, i always tell people to not judge a telco purely based on speed test results. It's the overall experience.

I have to admit Simba have to improve in many other aspects like network coverage. Train underground tunnels, KPE, MCE vehicle underground tunnels works well. The only problem for simba is those older buildings which are quite big, the indoor coverage is bad.

Depends where you work and your work place have good coverage. It works differently for people.

Back to S23 Ultra, i'm using it with e-SIM from SIMBA. I got 5G services and using the $10/mth plan. I chose esim because i'm planning to use it for at least 3-years. Prior to that i use my Z Flip 3 for 2-years, with a small battery. Moving to S23 Ultra, my battery life improved tremendously.

One advice i would give and people suggest is not to fully charge to 100%. It's too technical to understand and explain, it's not good for battery over long time. If you want to prolonged use for your S23Ultra, don't charge it over 85% too often. I often remove from charger from 88%.

Use modes & routines to restrict battery charge beyond 85% if you intend to charge overnight.

Samsung can enable it to charge to 85%.
Depending on usage, charge to 85% can make the mobile last longer.
Of course also depends on your usage, it you everyday use 85% battery, then charge to 85% is no point.

I want to keep my s23 ultra,at least 3 yrs. Now using singtel contracts. To make it like new, strong baterry not every secs 4% drain and fast processing. Recommend which telcos has a good wide area coverage even in tunnels and undergrounds.
Im using my phones for movies and gaming.

if you're on singtel contract, you still continue with Singtel. They have good coverage underground and tunnels.

If want Singtel coverage, can try Singtel's own "MVNO" like Heya and GOMO. Zym also (y)

P.S. Connectivity really depends on location.

Use Singtel, for your S23, reformat and complete restore factory settings every month, then every six months go to Samsung and change fresh battery... Do this for 3 years, Confirm feel like brand new.

Battery is a perishable item, every single charge and discharge the batter will lose an amount of capacity.

Simba mobile network is very slow. Cannot make it.

I use singtel mobile. Quite jialat but at least still passable if watching YouTube video.

My republic mobile also decent.

I don't even ask for much. I just need to watch YouTube smoothly but simba cannot fulfill every 30 seconds lag at 144p. And singtel sometimes lag.

they not doing anything to manage traffic isit
Has always been lagging at HDB areas where people are using it as home broadband. In town, speed is minimum 2 digits and some areas easily hit 3 digits
