Singtel trade in condition?

Hi all, anyone knows how singtel checks the phones that you are trading in? My phone got water-damaged and it is unable to register to a network. Not sure if they will find out about it. I heard that delivery people are more casual with accepting phones (only checking for exterior damage, can on can off, camera working). Anyone with experience please enlighten!!

mostly they check the cosmetic damage.

and that the phone can on and do the usual stuff. dun think they ever check that if the phone can register to a network.

My encounters with the delivery guys are they are not strict at all. mostly of them will see if the phone can power on anot and see the physical condition of the phone. A few of them dun bother to check as well, they will just grab the phone and go.

Will they open up the phone to see if there are any parts replaced internally (for delivery trade ins) from what I know shops outside do open up and check for replaced parts.

No not at all. They at most will power up to look for defects only..

when you indicated the trade in device on your cart, the site will tell you the criteria like no screen breakage, comes with charger and battery etc.. this kind of camera issue by principle you cannot smoke through, but by left if person never check then hoola..
