SINGTEL WIFI DROPPING ISSUE

i just bought an TP link AX6000, ONT connected to the singtel modem , Singtel modem connect to my new router AX6000. WIFI is okay in the rooms but i
have issue in not recieving wifi in my living room.
kindly assist.

wifi signals travel in straight lines. If there are objects / walls / doors, it will cause wireless signals to degrade when going across them. Very often, wireless routers/APs advertised good coverage. But, this is based in an open space and without other wireless interference (i.e. congestion with other wifi signals - neighbours wifi, other wireless types of frequencies in the space).

Try putting the wireless router in the center of the house. If this is not possible, add additional wireless routers/APs to cover the blindspots.

singtel technician installed air ties and netgear in one of the room, another airties is placed in the living room, issue still persist. staying in a 1500sqft place.

When doing a mesh setup with wireless backhaul, the main node and the satellite should in the line of sight.

Maybe you need to post your floor plan and provide more details.

Are you using ONT or ONR? Are you using SingTel issued Wireless router? Where do you put them? Did you put the AX6000 in AP mode if it is case 1 or case 3?

1) FTP -- ONT -- SingTel wireless router -- AX6000, Need to set AX6000 in AP mode, or allow double NAT.

2) FTP -- ONT -- AX6000? Need vlan.

3) FTP -- ONR -- AX6000? Need to set AX6000 in AP mode, or allow double NAT.

I tend to believe you are with Case 3.

Do you have Ethernet ports in the rooms and in the living room?
