I just brought a new ASUS router to replace the old singtel router. However after following instructions on ASUS webpage to change the LAN setting under ISP Profile to Singtel others I encountered this problem does anyone know why? MIO TV also not working.

Are you using Singtel ONR or ONT?

Looks like you are using Singtel ONR, then you may want to set up your Asus router in AP mode. And your Singtel TV Box has to be connected to the Singtel ONR.

Yes mine is a ONR. I'm using 2 asus XT8 routers one in the living room and 1 in the master bed room. I change to this because there are deadzones in my house. Followed your instructions just now, connected my ONR to the asus router set to AP mode then I connect another lan cable from my Asus router to the TV box. TV and wifi working now.

Internet should be fine.

You may need to monitor your Singtel TV box to see if it works proper continuously.

Singtel ONR -- Asus ZenWiFi XT8 in AP mode -- Singtel TV box --> this is supposedly not working.

You may have to connect your Singtel TV Box directly to the Singtel ONR in that case.

Unfortunately I cannot connect the ONR directly to the TV box due to the layout of my house. The ONR is at located at another place which act as a terminal hub that connect to other LAN ports around my house. There is only 1 LAN port at the living room.

If really cannot, I will connect the ONR to the Singtel router then connect my ASUS router and the TV box to the my Singtel router. :ROFLMAO:

Yes that is a good work-around.

Singtel ONR -- Singtel issued router (eg: SIngtel Mesh Router with WiFi disabled, automatically run in AP mode) Singtel issued router -- Singtel TV Box in living room
Singtel issued router -- Asus ZenWiFi XT8 main AImesh node (AP mode) in living room
Singtel ONR -- Asus ZenWiFi XT8 AImesh mesh node in master bedroom

But how do I disable the WiFi on my singtel router?
